Dress - Charity shop.

What a glorious weekend I had. The weather and the company, it was all just perfect. Working yesterday certainly brought me down to earth with a bump.

Sunday my family and I gathered at my sisters house for a little get together. It would have been my Dad's 60th birthday so we thought that we would celebrate. The food was delicious. My mum made potato salad with bacon bits and mustard dressing along with white chocolate cheesecakes and a load more food too. We sat out in the garden until dusk. It was such a lovely way to celebrate the day.

I put this dress on for something cool but I ended up changing into shorts and kimono later on as I was hot after rushing around baking for the party (chocolate dipped vanilla biscuits and strawberry shortcakes).  I picked this dress up a couple of years a go and forgot I had it. It's so perfect for hot summers days and really easy to just throw on. The print is cute as well, you can't go wrong with strawberries especially with Wimbledon starting up! I even attempted a milkmaid braid, which was perfect for getting my hair out of my face. It still needs perfecting I think!

I'm counting down the days until my next weekend off, spent in the sun (hopefully) maybe next time a trip to the beach?

How did you spend your weekend?
