How we spent our Sunday!

Monday, June 16, 2014

Yesterday we woke up a bit earlier than we would on any other Sunday which normally would make me moan but it was for a good reason. We were going to Bewilderwood. For those of you that don't know Bewilderwood is an outdoor treehouse adventure park based in Norfolk. The park is based on story books by Tom Blofeld.

There is zip wires, boat trips, lots of rickety bridges to climb over and not forgetting the massive slides. I'm not sure who had more fun the kids or us adults (we definitely did not wobble the bridges when there were children on there, ok maybe we did!!!) . We decided to pack a picnic of cheese sandwiches and few other nibbly bits. The Mr's family packed an amazing picnic of pasta salad, homemade scotch eggs and even bought a bottle of balsamic vinegar. They put ours to shame but luckily they share!

It was such a great day out and you could easily spend all day there with things to do. We even had our face painted. I opted for a little bee on my right cheek! We held up a queue of children just so we could have our face painted and we didn't care haha! We caught most of the story telling too which tells you all about the characters you'll find around the park.

I decided to film a little vlog of the day. It's not anything great and I'm not sure where the black frame came from but it's the perfect reminder of our day out. The Mr decided that next week he wants to be in charge of filming and editing which is great for me as that means I can take the photos. So expect to see weekly vlogs (maybe, don't hold us to that!)

So if you find yourself in Norfolk and stuck for an idea. You need to head to Bewilderwood! You really won't be disappointed!
