Weekly Meal Plan #6

Monday, August 15, 2016

This weeks meal plan is a bit different from normal. We move today! Oh the joys. There's no way I plan on cooking tonight as I'm sure I'm going to be exhausted and my pots and pans might not even be unpacked. So we're treating ourselves and our moving helpers to takeaway and beer. Sounds perfect to me. So I've scheduled an extra meal for Saturday instead. Normally we treat ourselves to takeaway or chip shop on Saturdays and on Sundays we have dinner at my mums house. But seeing as we are having takeaway Monday night we thought that a home cooked meal would be much better for Saturday.

I've already got a few bits in the cupboards and freezer for this week so that's going to save me a few pounds. We'll be shopping at Morrisons but it won't be until tomorrow so I can't tell you how much it will cost. But I'll update this as soon as I know. If you'd like to have a copy of my shopping list (including prices), a printable meal plan and an exclusive recipe for last weeks nacho wraps (there will be a new recipe every week), sign up to my weekly email newsletters . This weeks will be going out on Tuesday due to us moving.

  4. Oh this puts me to shame! I never meal plan - well i meal plan at weekends but that is it. I stock my fridge and freezer up then cook what we fancy on the day. My hubby does the shopping as he says i spend too much. Our weekly shopping bill is really high though. Thanks for linking up to #EatSleepBlogRt
