Anniversary Gift Wishlist.

Monday, January 02, 2017

On the 27th of February this year my husband and I will have been married for a year and been together for 8 years. It's hard to believe that a year has flown by already and we can't wait to celebrate our anniversary. We had planned on an overnight spa trip but we're not sure if we will be able to leave Edith just yet. If we can't then a day out on the day will be just as lovely.

We're not normally ones for anniversary gifts as February is a buys month for us. My birthday is on the 9th, my husbands on the 12th, then there's Valentines Day on the 14th, our nieces birthday on the 18th and then our anniversary on the 27th. It's a rather expensive month for us! But I think as this year is our first year of marriage we might buy each other an anniversary gift.

I thought that I would put together a gift wishlist from Uncommon Goods, a lovely website specialising in bespoke and "off the peg" gifts. Uncommon Goods are an ethical online store who stock handmade, recycled and organic products working with artists and small manufacturers. They also donate a small amount from every purchase and have donated over $1,000,000 since they created the Better To Give Program.

So I've picked out some beautiful products. These are items that either I would love or my husband and some of them we would both love. If you click onto the link you can also read a little bit about the maker of each product, I love how personal that feels!

One. Personalized Constellation of Love  - A gift for me. I do love the stars and to have one of these prints from our wedding night or Edith's birth would be lovely.

Two. Personalized Hearts Four-Across Game - The perfect gift for my husband, games mad and highly competitive.

Three. Personalized Porcelain Faux Bois Mug Set - A gift for both of us, we are both big fans of tea & coffee so these would go down a treat.

Four. Personalized Venn Diagram Cutting Board - Another gift we could both enjoy. We are both big foodies so this chopping board would be a perfect addition to our kitchen.

Five. Foodie Dice - I love this idea. It would make cooking so much fun. Roll the dice for the ingredients and cooking method and you've got a delicious meal. Perfect for a cosy night in!

Six. Personalized Family Mugs - Another mug, but how gorgeous are these! You can buy a set or individually which is perfect for a young family.

Seven. Succulent Living Wall Planter Kit - A gift for me of course. I am a little bit plant obsessed so this would be amazing and would look gorgeous in our hall way.

Eight. Custom Morse Code Necklace - Another gift idea for me and I think this might be my favourite. It's so lovely and people may not realise what it is until it's explained. Although I was tempted by the colour wheel necklace as my husband and I often have disagreements about what colour things are.

So there's my top 8. I wonder if my husband will get any hints haha? Which gift idea is your favourite?

This post has been written in collaboration with Uncommon Goods, however all views, opinions and love for the products are my own.
