I just love the light in these photographs, worth getting up early for. Yesterday I spent the day with my two favourite people. My mum and the Mr. We headed over to another town to raid their charity shops, they have some of the best. I never leave empty handed and I even managed to get a beautiful wicker basket I wanted to store the Mr's socks in for two pound. I also picked up two pastel coloured plates one is baby blue and the other in baby pink. They cost me a grand total of forty pence. I also picked up some more clothes for myself. I have problems, I know but for fifty pence each I couldn't say no. I got a beautiful vintage blue and white print top and a pretty red and black floral skirt.
So for three pounds forty I think I had a pretty good haul. The Mr picked up some ties for fifty pence, one of the had tiny anchors and boats on it, so cute, they're for when he becomes a teacher, keep your fingers crossed for him. As for my mum she brought a lovely heart tin to make six individual cakes, I can't wait to see what she makes.
As for my outfit, how beautiful is this dress. I love a good floral dress and this just ticks all the boxes. I've been after a good plaid print scarf for a while and this beauty came from the menswear. Sometime men's scarves can be better, longer and less fussy and this one is a great example of why you need to look everywhere. And as for the hat I couldn't resist. It has ears! You might have seen it before if you follow me on Instagram I got too excited when it arrived and wore it all day!
