What Edith Wore #1

Friday, October 21, 2016

I thought I would share with you one of Edith's outfits. I'm not going to lie this girl has the latest clothes and always looks decent. Unlike her Mama who's wearing a jumper that's at least 5 or 6 years old!

I do buy a lot of Edith's secondhand, car-boot sales and charity shops are wonderful but a good chunk of her wardrobe comes from Next. Oh their clothes are just too nice. Sometimes girls clothes can be overly pink and I'm not the biggest fan of that baby pink colour that some retailers think you should dress girls in. I love floral and patterns, mustard yellows and denim. It's something that very few retailers get right.

We also love a bit of supermarket fashion. Tesco have some gorgeous pieces in at the minute. We picked up a gorgeous mustard cardigan and well as a chunky knit blue one with beautiful stitching detail. I think they were £7 each. You really can't argue at that price.

This whole outfit is from Next. The tunic dress is from their multibuy range and the leggings are their standard leggings. I love the outfit although I do think it makes her look like a little girl instead of a baby.

The only thing missing from this outfit is a little pair of shoes, the ones in the photographs are way too small now, boo! We are off to Lidl at the weekend as I've seen that a lot of people have picked up moccasins from their for £5. I really hope they have some left. I feel like they would be great at keeping her feet warm in the winter and getting her used to wearing shoes. She doesn't walk yet so they are not a crucial part of her outfits. Not yet anyway.

Where do you shop for your little ones? Anywhere I need to check out?

This post wasn't written in collaboration I just really love Next's baby clothes, haha
