Tuesday morning we woke up early and headed out for an adventure. We had booked a Travel Lodge to stay in for the night and we decided that we would visit a few places around that area. Neither of us are massive fans of traveling. I get a bit sick and the Mr just doesn't see the need. We are both home people but it was really nice to just get away for a day or so.

We first headed to Stowmarket and wondered round. Our Travel Lodge was there so we decided that we would have a look around. It's a small town and there wasn't a whole lot to do. We stopped in the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts where we got a great recommendation from the guys in their to visit the Walled Garden and hall. We headed over and it was a great suggestion. We looked around the gardens which were just beautiful.

It was such a rainy day and we didn't really want to be outside. My hair decided to turn into a frizzball. So we decided that we would go to Ipswich and watch What If. It was a really good film and if you're looking for something to watch we would both really recommend it. We only really wanted to see it because of Daniel Radcliffe. God we love him and his awkwardness. But we really loved it and I fell in love with Chantry's hair and wardrobe.

After the cinema we were starving (we decided to be grown up and not take sweets with us). Luckily the cinema is just next to a whole row of restaurants. Frankie and Bennys is always the number one choice with us. We had 3 courses and the aim was to be so full we would waddle out of the restaurant. Garlic mushrooms, fish and chips and chocolate brownies later I fulfilled my aim.

We found our travel lodge and made our home for the night. A couple of films and fruit ciders later we went to bed (in a really comfy bed, I was shocked) ready for a busy day in the morning.

To be continued . . .

  2. Glad to hear What If is a good movie. I wasn't sure about going to see it. My parents actually bought one of the mattresses that they use in the Travellodges because they were so impressed by how comfy it was!

  3. I've been wanting to see What If, with Radcliffe being in a very different role to his most well known, glad to hear it's good! The gardens there are very beautiful!

  6. I like staying near by and having home adventures, you can be surprised at what's just around the corner from you. I also like to go further afield too :) I just like little adventures and the whole idea of new places and new experiences.

I also really like Frankie and Benny's and tend to go there every time we go back to the UK!
