Is it too early to be using the C word? I don't care. I have to admit I'm rather excited already. There is nothing like a trip to the garden centre to see all the Christmas lights (we are planning a trip on Saturday). I've also started my Christmas shopping, this year I am combing homemade presents with shop bought. I'm going to sharing some of my homemade gifts with you guys with my Christmas series.

I might have ran to the door on Tuesday when I saw the post van pull up outside my house. The lovely Sally (who also has a rather lovely blog) contacted me asking if  I'd like to try out some new products from Lindt including a new hot chocolate. Of course I said yes and yesterday morning I broke open the box of hot chocolate and marshmallows too. It was rather delicious, really chocolately without that regretful sickly feeling (you know the one I'm talking about). I am having a girly night tonight and I'm going to be taking this along.

I was also sent this giant 500g Lindt bear which I am a little bit in love with and I'm not sure I can break into it. It is the size of my head! Lindt chocolate is gorgeous. I can remember having a chocolate rabbit at Easter every year, (which was also traumatic breaking into it) so the taste reminds me of my childhood.

The little chocolate reindeers haven't lasted very long. There's only one left but I did have help from my family to eat them. The thing I loved most about about this little gift set is the reindeer ears. I am planning on wearing them for the whole of December at work just to annoy customers! I do love a bit of over the top Christmas spirit!

Overall I loved everything but that is hardly surprising it's chocolate and you can never go wrong with chocolate!

Although the chocolate has been sent for my consideration all views are my own.

  1. I LOVE garden centres at Christmas, unfortunately I don't think there is one up here in the North East that I can get to without a car :(

My favourite garden centre in the world is Bents in Leigh near Manchester, it's where my Simon's family live and his Mum took me there on our last visit and OMG it's amazing, so huge and with a massive café that does gorgeous home made cakes. I've heard at Christmas it's out of this world, next year I'm going to have to make sure I plan a visit to see it for myself.

Hot chocolate at Christmas time (and yes I've gone there .. I feel a little Christmassy right now too!) is just perfect, I haven't had too many myself yet but it's only a matter of time!

  4. I'd be very interested to try the hot chocolate! I hope it's as smooth and creamy as the solid stuff....

  5. I love some lindt - so happy I can have it all year round! Need to pick up a reindeer. I'm trying not to get too excited about Xmas until after my birthday on 15th Nov but I am already!! xx

  6. I love Lindt - it's super tasty! I've never been much for hot chocolate, mainly because of that sickly feeling you get after drinking it! I'd be interested to try this one if it is not so sickly!
