Weekly Meal Plan Under £30
Meal planning this week came pretty easy. It's odd how some weeks it takes forever and other weeks I just can't think of what to make. I've had few recipe I've wanted to make for a while and a couple that I want to photograph this week as they are so tasty I've got to share them.

We shopped in Morrisons once again. They did have a few things out of stock so we had to buy the more expensive version. This weeks shop came to £30.68. A whole 68p over budget. We didn't need nappies and wipes this week as we are stocked up but we did buy a few cleaning products, ingredients for food writing work and baby food (handy for putting in the changing bag!). I've also included bits for lunch and breakfasts which I don't list on here and some meatballs I've put in the freezer for next week, they were £1 for 12 pork meatballs and I couldn't resist.

I did wonder if you guys might like to see ingredients for each meal, as well as store cupboard ingredients I have used too. Please let me know in the comments. I can also produce a printable shopping list to make meal planning even easier.

Monday
Pork bagel burgers with homemade chips.

Tuesday
Nacho wraps. (recipe coming soon)

Wednesday
Slow cooker turkey curry (peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes) with basmati rice.

Thursday
Pizza margherita toasties with homemade wedges and veggies.

Friday
Cheats carbonara (mushrooms, spinach, peas) with homemade bread.

What are you eating this week?

  2. I really wish I was better at meal planning! Your skills at sticking to a budget are impressive. That's something else I wish I was better at! In fact, I should probably start by setting a budget to begin with! Having just returned from a holiday my pathetic meal planning was even worse than normal. So this week, it's mostly 'whatever I find in the freezer'! #bigpinklink

  7. It's really interesting to see what other people eat for dinner every day! I should share my weekly plan on my blog too. My meals are mostly vegetarian with fish and seafood on a plate twice a week. I have for example miso soup with prawns & mushrooms (recipe here: http://www.behealthynow.co.uk/healthy-meals/shiitake-mushroom-and-prawn-miso-soup/), also egg salad which is so quick to make (http://www.behealthynow.co.uk/healthy-meals/crunchy-egg-salad-with-avocado/), etc.

  8. This is good timing, I was just talking to my son about sitting down tomorrow and coming up with a food plan for the next week as this past couple of weeks has been horrendous last minute freezer raiding.
