As you probably know we moved over the summer. It was a much bigger house which meant we needed new furniture and I took the chance to get some new homeware. Any excuse. I'm pretty addicted to buying it. So we got new furniture for this little corner but it looked a bit bare still. It needed some soft furnishings and accessories to make it all look a bit more cosy with this in mind and with autumn as my inspiration for colours I set off in search of something pretty.
My first buy was this gorgeous copper coloured tea light holder it sits the in space perfectly and adds a great focal point.
We went on a trip to Primark where I picked up this beautiful smelling candle. It fills the room with fragrance as well as looking pretty too. I purchased this super soft black and white throw too. It covers the chair perfectly as well as looking pretty.
My next purchases came from ASDA. The two cushions. The mustard yellow contrasts the black and white really well.
It would be a cosy corner without a pretty mug to drink tea from. I got this orange one from B&M. It comes in a pack of four and is a total bargain for £2.99.
All the little purchases have lifted the corner nicely and it feels really cosy now. It's the only corner in the whole house that's beautifully styled. I guess I had better sort the rest of it out with an Autumn update too haha!
