Lately #16

Snow days - Some of the deepest snow we've seen in ages. I had to make the most of it and photograph everything.

Baking - I've baked a lot this week. I love it and you guys do love a good recipe. If you make anything please tweet me with a picture.

Pancakes - Today we spent the whole morning making different pancakes and there will be a post featuring them all. It was the first time today I tried Marshmallow Fluff, it's very good!

Nail art & snow ootd!

Last night I was invited to a local beauty salon to have my nails done!I love nail art and when it was suggested I leaped at the idea. I had Gellish polish applied which is dried by a UV lamp. Sarah, the lovely beautician spend ages making sure everything was perfect. She helped me pick designs and then carefully painted the patterns on freehand. The floral pattern is so cute!

If your local to my area definitely check out Millie Rose salon! I felt so relaxed and the salon is beautiful. In fact I'm going back to take some more photographs! I recommend the salon 100% and I plan to go back for more treatments.

Wow what's happened to the weather. It was minus 7 last night and further inland it was down to minus 12. It's very cold in East Anglia at the minute. Which is bad for some people but is the perfect opportunity for me to get my camera out. Like I need an excuse.

I never know what to wear when it's so cold. I went really casual today as I really can't be bothered. I'm staying in and trying to get on with uni work. Oh the joy.

I'm probably going to post a recipe tomorrow (maybe I'm not promising) is there anything you'd like to see. Baking or cooking? Sweet or savoury? Healthy or fatty?

I am so happy it snowed. I had these pictures planned since Friday. I wanted them so I could enter a blog competition, I'll tell you more if I am successful!

My coat is one of the best things I've ever picked up from a charity shop. It's a vintage Jaeger coat and it is beautiful.

I got up at 8:30 (on a Sunday! I know) did my hair and make up and headed outside. Thank goodness I took these pictures early as later on I had a snowball fight with my brother and nephew and lets just say after that I didn't look my best!
