[Jumper - Charity Shop, Skirt - Charity Shop, Necklace - Roam Jewellery]
It's that time of year when the sunlight in the garden is just beautiful. It washes all my photographs with light and sun flares. I do love a cold but sunny Winters day, it makes me want to go on walks and then I realise that I would much rather stay in the warm.
I've been meaning to photograph this skirt for a while. I picked it up in a charity shop for just 50p. I couldn't believe my luck, it's the perfect length for a winter skirt. Long enough to keep your legs warm but enough leg out that it doesn't look frumpy.
We spent the day yesterday walking around the charity shops in the town. We didn't find a thing, it's funny how on some days you find lots and others you don't find anything. I guess that's just the nature of charity shopping.
I did pick up some crafty bits to start making wedding things. It's 420 days until the big day and as we are planning on making most things we need to get started as soon as possible. This weekend we are going to start on the save the dates which are really cute, the Mr, my sister in law and I designed them one night, now we just have to make 50! I can't wait to show you with a little DIY post.
I hope you've had a lovely start to the New Year! How are you spending your Saturday?
Great charity shop finds! x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely outfit, I would have never believed that skirt was 50p! I've spent my Saturday catching up with some much neglected uni revision and writing up some blog posts :) xx
