Yesterday I went to London Fashion Weekend. It's a taste of London Fashion Week with shopping, beauty events etc at Somerset House. You pay a reasonable price to get in, catwalk and goody bag. I also ended up getting a free gift from Elizabeth Arden too! I found a 25% off code on the Internet so it cost me £29 to go! Great value I think.

Me and Mama Swan set out at 6:38am to get to London for half past nine. But I didn't care about getting up early I was far too excited to be tired! When we got there we queued for around ten to fifteen minutes while we were waiting to get in. Once we got in we headed straight off to collect our goody bags and I finally got my copy of Elle (I reserved it for a £1 so couldn't buy it all month, for someone who is addicted to magazines you don't know how difficult that is). We then looked round all the boutiques. Clothes from Jager Boutique, twenty8twelve, American Vintage, Jane Carr to name a few.

Our Catwalk was booked for 12pm so we decided to que early and to our delight we ended up being FROW (Front Row) which was amazing, if a little cramped but amazing. We then saw collections from Holly Fulton, Antipodium and Jasper Conran. The show was presented by Zoe Hardman and we even had a special guest of fashion journalist Hilary Alexander. The catwalk show was amazing the models (from Premier Models) made the clothes look amazing.

After the show we needed cake! So we headed of to Molly Bakes where Mama Swan and I enjoyed a Red Velvet cake (not as good as Mama Swan's but then no one's ever are). We then headed off to the River Box which was located on the River Terrace at Somerset House. We browsed lots of gorgeous jewellery and then had free smoothies from the lovely people at Veet. We also looked round the designer selection and I got to touch an amazing Dolce and Gabbana dress which was worth £1700! I couldn't believe it. It was amazing but I could find a version of it cheaper!

Once we had finished everything at LFWEnd we then headed into Covent Garden in search of food and we found Pret A Manger and had some amazing sandwiches. Then a spot of window shopping, drooling over the bags in the Mulberry stores window. After a long day we then headed home. On the train home we raided our goody bags and I finally got to read Elle!

Overall it was such an amazing day and totally worth £29. Would I recommend you going? If you love fashion, then yes!

P.S Thanks to Mama Swan for taking the pictures of me!
