new look

A boat skirt and my weekend.

Top - New Look
Skirt - Primark
Necklace - eBay

How do days off go so quickly? This weekend has flown by and it feels like I've not had a minute. We went to the cinema Friday evening to see X-Men. I have to say I did enjoy it and the fact that Hugh Jackman is a little bit naked, well that's just an added bonus!

We spent Saturday morning in the town over from ours, browsing the charity shops. I left empty handed which is always a rubbish feeling. We grabbed some lunch then headed home. I baked and then we just relaxed on the sofa finishing off the cinema goodies we had left over.

Yesterday we went out for breakfast with the Mr's family and then headed over to my mums. We talked baking and gardening. Mum knows so much more and I'm totally clueless when it comes to the garden. I need to bribe her to come over and help me out again! Mum then made the most delicious tacos, complete with spicy wedges and Mexican coleslaw. It was delicious and we left with rather full stomachs.

It's been such a lovely weekend but it's gone far too quickly. I'm back at work tomorrow then off again Tuesday I'm hoping to blog and possibly even vlog (maybe, who knows?) about my day.

How was your weekend? Was the sun shining where you are?

Today is the last day to nominate for the Cosmo Blog Awards I can't tell you how grateful I would be if you could nominate we for the best food blog! Follow the link here.

The lighthouse.

Top - Charity shop
Skirt - Monki
Necklace - eBay
Shoes - New Look

I'm posting bit later than normal. I'm blaming this horrendous cold that I've picked up from somewhere. What awful timing with my week off but I suppose at least I don't have to drag myself out of bed. and go to work.

This weekend went so quickly. I'm glad I've got a week off as this weekend flew by. We went to a wedding on Saturday, where I was the photographer. It's my first of the year and it was just lovely. I've now got loads of photographs to go through and edit. Then yesterday we went out for breakfast and then headed over to my mums for a roast. Delicious!

I don't have a lot planned this week, which is perfect. I just want to relax and have a bit of pampering. I'm getting my hair done on Wednesday and hopefully getting these brows sorted on Thursday. And hopefully I'll paint my nails! (Does anyone else always run out of time?)

How cute is this necklace? It only cost me £1.30 something of eBay and even though it came all the way from China it didn't take that long to arrive. Apparently in this outfit I look like a lighthouse. Thanks for that Mr!

I hope you had a lovely weekend. What did you get up to?

Dress, tights, necklace - New Look

I think check/plaid/tartan has to be my third favourite print of all time. Floral being number one, followed by polka dot and then tartan. Such a nice print and there is so many nice pieces at the minute.

I just need a faux fur coat. I'm hunting in charity shops hoping I can find something but no luck so far. I sometimes think it feels like cheating just going out and buying something. I like the chase and the thrill when you find that beautiful piece. I need to charity shop a lot more, even more than I do now you never know when there's something pretty just waiting for you.

Today is a welcome break from Christmas posts, but don't worry there's still a few more to pull out of the bag before the big day. Can you believe it's next week? It's crept up on me.

Top - Charity shop, Dress (worn underneath) - Vintage, Tights - Primark, Boots - New Look, Necklace - eBay.

A fashion post. Wow I must be organised. I always think yeah I'll post my outfit, then never get round to doing it. I picked up this top yesterday on my charity shop haul. My sister and I went to every charity shop in our town on the look out for pretty clothes and Christmas presents. We did really well. I got a few presents and two top all for under £15. Not bad!

I'm still getting used to my haircut. All together I've probably had about 3 inches off which for someone who always says "please just take the ends and no more" it's a big step. I think it makes me look a bit more mature and it looks a lot healthy than it did.

I've got lots more Christmas posts lined up so keep your eyes out for those!

Top - Henry Holland
Shorts** - New Look
Bracelet* - Raspberry Grape
Headscarf - Vintage

Total Outfit Price: £19.89

I took these photo's on the Bank Holiday Monday. Back when the weather was beautiful. I spent the morning at the street sale and carboot and found some beautiful bits for my future home. (House hunting is hard!) I'm really into homeware at the minute and spend every spare minute on Pinterest.

I finish my second year of uni on Monday and to be honest I can't wait. No deadlines hanging over me and I can finally have days off! Woooo.

A massive thank you to all of you. I've almost hit 200 followers and I'm very thankful. I love reading all your comments and it really makes my day!

It would be amazing if you could nominate me for the Cosmo Blog Awards for best lifestyle blog. It doesn't take too long and it really means the world. I know a few of you have already so thank you if you have!!
