Witch Skincare Flawless Friends Festive Night Outfit Post!

Wednesday, December 19, 2012

dress, bag - vintage
shoes - charity shop
tights - primark

Total Outfit Price: £12.25

So when Witch got in touch for us to do a festive outfit post, I couldn't say no. I love getting dressed up and at Christmas time it's an excuse for a bit of sparkle.

This dress came from the charity shop my mum volunteers at and she paid £4.50 for it. The lady who donated said she wore this in the 50's so it's an original. I love how it looks and I love the story behind it. I picked the shoes and the bag up at a charity shop too.

As for make up I wanted keep with the vintage theme, red lips and winged eyeliner. I used Witch tinted moisturiser as a base under my foundation as it's a lot kinder to my skin and perfect for keeping away those horrible red blemishes.

So I hope this has inspired you to look great this Christmas on a budget. Charity shops do not have to mean cast offs!

P.S A massive thank you to my mum for helping me out with these photos!

Flawless Friends Perfect Summer Look!

Wednesday, August 08, 2012

bralet, skirt**, hat - New Look bracelet - Prairie Charms, pearls - Gift

Total Outfit Price: £21.49

This outfit is for my Flawless Friends perfect summer look. I am in love with this maxi skirt and it's perfect for when we do have the nice odd summer day. I'm trying to find a black one for winter.

I love the bralet too! It goes so well with anything high waisted! Topped off with my big floppy sun hat and I'm set for lounging in the garden listening to 60's music. Ahhhh heaven!

Only 2 days till Dolly Peg launches! Ahh so excited.

So yesterday was the Witch Skincare Flawless Friends meet up. There are 20 of us all together but not everyone was able to make it. The day was amazing! Yesterday was my first ever event as a blogger and I had an awful feeling that I would feel and look horribly out of place (my blog is 7 months old). But I had no need to worry, as everyone was lovely.

We started off the day at Wahaca, a Mexican restaurant on Southbank. It’s an amazing place and the food was delicious. I tried cactus! Oh yeah. It was weird but tasted good. At Wahaca we were given a present a lovely pair of Hunter wellies (we were originally meant to be going to vintage festival)!

We then headed to the London Eye in a private pod! There was lots of picture taking and giggling as well as pervy man in the pod next to us trying to take our photo! Nice.

We then found out what the wellies were for! We headed off to the duck tour. Which if you don’t know involves a little bus (type thing, nice a technical) that takes you around London on the usual sight seeing tour you then head into the Thames. In the car! I almost died it was rather scary but a great experience! The tour guide was crazy and talked to us about llamas and everything in between. We were given a little bag of sweets (how cute) and a duck whistle to blow at the tourists!

It was an amazing day and I want to say thank you to everyone for being so lovely and welcoming. I’ve made some new friends and have never laughed so such in my life! And a massive thank you to Witch Skincare. Who arranged everything for us! Such a great day! Love you guys.

top**, shoes - New Look, jeans - Primark, necklace, rings - Kukee

(my top has now entered the sale if your interested!)

Total Outfit Price: £25.49

Long time no see. I have been working like crazy over the past few days, sales equal madness. So I've only now had time to blog. I'm still caught up in the Fifty Shades Trilogy. They have to be some of the best books I've ever read and I urge you to read them!

I might be going to London on Saturday, to meet up with some of the Witch Skincare Flawless Friends. Which will be a lot of fun, but I need to see if I can sort out travel arrangements.

I have decided what I will be giving away when I reach the ultimate 100 followers. I know that doesn't sound alot to most but it's a 100 more than I ever thought I'd have. And I want to give you guys something back. As soon as I get closer to 100 I will give you an idea of what you could be winning. Trust me you'll want to be involved.

Dolly Peg is going to launch in August and we've just ordered our first round of stock. We have hand picked some gorgeous pieces and it's all things we would wear ourselves. I can't till we launch and I hope you guys will be supporting us!

Hope your all well! I've missed you guys, two days not blogging is too long!

Witch BB Cream

Wednesday, June 27, 2012

RRP £6.99*

Now if you have seen my Youtube videos you'll know that I had a love hate relationship with BB creams. I want to love them but skin hates them. I need a lot of coverage for my skin and having oily/combo skin I need a BB cream that's not full of oil. "A dewy complexion" to me equals a "shiny mess". But my days of hating BB creams are over!

Introducing you all to Witch BB cream. Know as you probably know by now I am a Witch Flawless friend and I got sent this over in my welcome pack. I've tried most of the products now so I'll be reviewing some of those too. But as this product is new I wanted to try it out. And boy am I in love.

To begin with I had bad thoughts, I expected my face to be an oily mess which no coverage. But my fears were indeed conquered. The coverage is amazing. Spots? What spots? And even under eye circles were eradicated! I did top my skin up with a dab on concealed but I was really please with the results. The BB cream offers SPF15 which is great as you don't have to worry about SPF in your moisturiser.

The BB cream is pink toned which suited my skin tone. I don't know if Witch are planning to bring out other shades but I don't think the shade I was sent would suit darker skin tones.

I find that the BB cream is good for a day when you don't want lasting full coverage. I wore it out my day's off when I don't need full make up. I used Witch Skin Clearing Primer before the BB cream and this made it last for longer.

Overall I really loved this product and I will be repurchasing when mine runs out.

It's the last few days of nominating for the Cosmo Blog Awards. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could give me a little nomination! Thank you all so much!
