I've got a bit blonde.
Natural and golden blonde, but blonde and I'm rather chuffed with it. I do love lighter hair in the summer and as I have this week off work I decided that it was time for a pamper so yesterday at lunchtime I carted myself off to the hairdressers. Three hours and three tonal shades later and here we are. I really like it.

I love going to the hairdressers being pampered for a few hours is just lovely but I felt rather silly yesterday I still have this terrible cold (hence the puffy face and eye bags) and sat in the chair sniffly and coughing but the girls made me feel really welcome and even offered me a cup of herbal lemon tea to soothe my throat. It was just perfect.

I had to include the photo above. When I force ask the Mr to take outfit photos for me I always take a few snaps to get the light, colour and exposure right. I thought that this photo summed up his feelings when I ask him to take photos. Haha, he loves it really!

Changes.

Friday, November 22, 2013

Before and after. I finally braved the hairdressers and had a well needed haircut. I've been to the hairdressers but I always end up having the very ends off to keep the length but this time I said take off what you need to. And this is the result. I'm so happy with it. After having a tough month it's amazing what a good hair cut can do for your confidence, I'm beginning to feel more me again and it's nice to be back!

Boots Build Up Removal Shampoo Review!

Tuesday, October 16, 2012

RRP £3.49

I picked this shampoo up after watching Vivianna from Vivianna Does Makeup. She recommends this shampoo no end and as it's reasonably priced I decided to give it a try.

A clarifying shampoo is supposed to get rid of the build up of products from your hair. My hair gets greasy quite quickly so I needed something to get rid of this. I tried this shampoo and loved it! It makes your hair feel so clean and silky smooth. Even my mum (who doesn't use any products on hair) used it and it boosted it up and left it feeling silky smooth.

I will be buying this again and I really love it. I use it once a week or when I feel I need it. It's definitely worth a go!

Well I decided to bite the bullet and get a full fringe. I've been debating it for a while and I said about it to my hairdresser and we decided that it would work and well here we are!

What do you think?

P.S Clothing at Tesco have featured me on their blog, very exciting click here to take a look!

Avon Moroccan Oil Review!

Tuesday, September 04, 2012

RRP £3.00

When the Avon book arrived through my door a few weeks ago and this little beauty was on the front cover I knew I had to try it. As I have ombre/dyed hair, I find the ends of my hair to very dry and even with hair masks and deep conditioning it needed something else. I was planning on buying the "real" Moroccan oil for around £20 and I am so glad I waited and got this instead.

My hair has never been so soft and I am super impressed. Sometimes when something is cheaper it can be greasy on your hair and not moisturise it probably but this is heaven. I am going to be repurchasing this for a very long time!

It's currently on offer for £3 but full price I think it costs around £5. Not bad and such a great product too!
