shirt - charity shop, skirt - h&m, vest (not seen) sunglasses - primark, shoes - new look

Total Outfit Price: £14.00

This outfit is what I wore to Norwich Fashion Week on Tuesday. I did have to borrow a pair of Mama Swan's tights as the weather on Tuesday wasn't as nice as it is today! I also didn't wear the sunglasses, no need to! Why can't weather be like this all the time?

Norwich Fashion Week designers show was amazing! You can read it all about here! I am so grateful for all the shares, link, likes and comments. It really makes me happy.

Estee Lauder Foundation Review
RRP £27
I tried out the new Estee Lauder foundation. Invisible fluid make up. When I first put it on inside I thought it looked a bit heavy but after a few minutes it settled into my skin really nice. And I really love it! The shade I used was 1WN2. And I really think this shade suited me for once! A great foundation! Very pricey but offers great results. You defiantly get what you pay for!

Impress Press on Manicure by Broadway Nails
RRP £5.99
I got a free sample of these nails from London Fashion Weekend. And up until now I was a fake nail virgin! I am in love with these nails. They are so easy to put on, they don't look fake, they stay on, I have had 3 showers since I put these on and they aren't going anywhere. I really love them. You can get lots of different designs, I think there are 36 all together. I 100% recommend!

recent purchases!

Wednesday, February 29, 2012

necklace - Poundland £1

feather double ring - poundland £1

rocking horse necklace - primark £2

block heel shoe - shoe zone £5.59

I'm far too tired out from uni to post outfits pictures. So I decided to photograph my recent haul.

I knew poundland sold jewellery but I always presumed that it was tacky or for children. But when I was in there the other day, I spied this necklace out of the corner of my eye. It was too late to que up and buy it so I came back to it a couple of days later. Whilst looking at the jewellery I also found this beautiful feather ring. Feather print is supposed to be quite big for S/S12 I know that Forever 21 has a really nice feather print top. Anyway, they are my purchases from poundland which I am really happy with.

I wore the rocking horse necklace to London Fashion Weekend, I wouldn't normally spend £2 on a primark necklace but as it was a special occasion I decided to get it. I absolutely love it!

The shoes are a massive bargain. The were supposed to be £14.99, they were the reduced down to £6.99 and then Shoe Zone have an extra 20% off all sale products. Which took the shoes down to £5.59! What a bargain and they are comfy and just beautiful. I will be getting these out at Norwich Fashion Week.

That's all for now. Tomorrow will be a make up review and a new up do for you to try, if it goes well!

top - new look, skirt, shoes - peacocks, belt - primark, tights - charity shop

Total Outfit Price: £27.20

I styled this little outfit up for my date tonight with Mr Swan. We've been together 3 years so we have decided to celebrate by either going out for Chinese or staying in with Chinese, we've not decided yet.

I'm still recovering for LFWEnd, it tired me and Mama Swan out so much we just lounged around all yesterday. I ventured into the sun to take some photographs for lookbook and my 365 project.

I love my nails at the minute but they are going to have to come off soon. I coated the nail in three coats of white nail varnish then glitter varnish and then around 10 topcoats to keep it on and it still didn't work well. Can anyone recommend me a good but cheap topcoat for nails?

Back to uni tomorrow after a long weekend. Starting a new project, which is always fun and it's portrait which is even better. taking pictures of landscapes just doesn't do it for me!

Anyway must go and meet Mr Swan.

London Fashion Weekend!

Sunday, February 26, 2012

dress, cardigan - George @ASDA, necklace, tights, bag - primark, boots - new look

Total Outfit Price: £40.00

Yesterday I went to London Fashion Weekend. It's a taste of London Fashion Week with shopping, beauty events etc at Somerset House. You pay a reasonable price to get in, catwalk and goody bag. I also ended up getting a free gift from Elizabeth Arden too! I found a 25% off code on the Internet so it cost me £29 to go! Great value I think.

Me and Mama Swan set out at 6:38am to get to London for half past nine. But I didn't care about getting up early I was far too excited to be tired! When we got there we queued for around ten to fifteen minutes while we were waiting to get in. Once we got in we headed straight off to collect our goody bags and I finally got my copy of Elle (I reserved it for a £1 so couldn't buy it all month, for someone who is addicted to magazines you don't know how difficult that is). We then looked round all the boutiques. Clothes from Jager Boutique, twenty8twelve, American Vintage, Jane Carr to name a few.

Our Catwalk was booked for 12pm so we decided to que early and to our delight we ended up being FROW (Front Row) which was amazing, if a little cramped but amazing. We then saw collections from Holly Fulton, Antipodium and Jasper Conran. The show was presented by Zoe Hardman and we even had a special guest of fashion journalist Hilary Alexander. The catwalk show was amazing the models (from Premier Models) made the clothes look amazing.

After the show we needed cake! So we headed of to Molly Bakes where Mama Swan and I enjoyed a Red Velvet cake (not as good as Mama Swan's but then no one's ever are). We then headed off to the River Box which was located on the River Terrace at Somerset House. We browsed lots of gorgeous jewellery and then had free smoothies from the lovely people at Veet. We also looked round the designer selection and I got to touch an amazing Dolce and Gabbana dress which was worth £1700! I couldn't believe it. It was amazing but I could find a version of it cheaper!

Once we had finished everything at LFWEnd we then headed into Covent Garden in search of food and we found Pret A Manger and had some amazing sandwiches. Then a spot of window shopping, drooling over the bags in the Mulberry stores window. After a long day we then headed home. On the train home we raided our goody bags and I finally got to read Elle!

Overall it was such an amazing day and totally worth £29. Would I recommend you going? If you love fashion, then yes!

P.S Thanks to Mama Swan for taking the pictures of me!
